The past two weeks have been productive. I found Coach Troy.
Each Kinetic trainer comes with a sample Spinervals DVD. Mine sat in a box for the past year (the trainer has not). The sample includes a 30-minute interval training session.
My typical trainer session starts with a 30 minute warm up, followed by the 30-minute interval session (90 seconds of hard effort followed by three minutes or rest). Last night, I took intervals to the next step. After a ten minute warm up, I pushed hard in the big ring/15 tooth combination for five minutes, followed by three minutes in the big ring/13 tooth combination. This lasted for a little over an hour.
Why do I share; because I feel stronger on the trainer. The weather is warming up and daylight savings is less than two weeks away. Here comes spring!
